August 27, 2020: Fairbanks

Depart from Roseborough Travel in DeLand for our flight to Fairbanks. Alaska’s “Golden Heart City” of Fairbanks is a great introduction to the heart of this unique state. We’ll check in to your hotel and get ready for our adventure ahead.    

August 28, 2020: Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge

This morning, take a cruise on an authentic Sternwheeler Riverboat down the Chena River before heading via motorcoach for Denali National Park and the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. Easy trails link the various places to shop and dine in this campus setting.

August 29, 2020: Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge

Explore Denali National Park on a Natural History Tour, watching for glimpses of Denali as well as moose, caribou and Dall sheep.

August 30, 2020: Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge - Talkeetna

The journey by Princess Rail to Talkeetna is unforgettable. Once you’ve arrived there, transfer by motorcoach to the Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge. After getting settled in, have a glass of wine out on the deck or sit and gaze at the majesty of “The Great One” from the lodge’s treehouse designed and built by Pete Nelson of Animal Planet’s Treehouse Masters.

August 31, 2020: Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge

Next, you’ll head by motorcoach across the stunning Kenai peninsula to Cooper Landing. Here the charming Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge welcomes you to the classic Alaskan lodge retreat - timber log construction and all.

September 1, 2020: Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge

A full day in the beauty of the Kenai Peninsula awaits you. Perhaps you’ll explore Kenai Fjords National Park, spend the afternoon river rafting or go fishing. Later, you’ll return to your bungalow-style room with its wood-burning stove and sun porch for an evening of pure relaxation.

September 2, 2020: Whittier - Embark

Relax this morning before boarding a motorcoach to Whittier and your awaiting ship. Embark and sail this evening.

September 3, 2020: Hubbard Glacier (Scenic Cruising)

The largest tidewater glacier in North America, Hubbard Glacier measures 76 miles long and plunges 1,200 feet into the depths of the bay. The area around Hubbard Glacier is also renowned for its wildlife, where whales, harbor seals and otters swim, brown bears, moose and black-tailed deer roam ashore, and a wide variety of seabirds soar gracefully across the sky.

September 4, 2020: Glacier Bay National Park (Scenic Cruising)

Take in the awe-inspiring scenery as you enjoy an unforgettable day of sailing through this dazzling park, where you’ll glide along emerald waters and past calving icebergs, and can breathe in the crisp, fresh air to your heart’s content.

September 5, 2020: Skagway, Alaska

Skagway was the gateway to the goldfields for the thousands who flocked to Alaska and the Yukon with the hope of striking it rich. Skagway may have boasted the shortest route to the Klondike, but it wasn’t the easiest.  Roseborough Exclusive Optional Excursion on the White Pass Scenic Railway.

September 6, 2020: Juneau, Alaska

Juneau is famous not only for gold and government but also for its breathtakingly beautiful glaciers and stunning views of both water and mountains. Roseborough Exclusive Optional Excursion Whale watch and Salmon Bake.

September 7, 2020: Ketchikan, Alaska

Visitors to Ketchikan will be intrigued by its rich Native heritage, which includes the world’s oldest collection of totem poles at Totem Heritage Center. The Haida, Tlingit and Tsimshian are all a part of the city’s colorful history. Ketchikan, with its abundance of salmon, is also a sportfishing paradise. Sightseers will be impressed with both the scenic town and its surroundings, especially Misty Fjords National Monument.

September 8, 2020: At Sea

Enjoy a relaxing day at sea. Watch the beautiful scenery of Alaska go by, or maybe check out some of the amenities on board.

September 9, 2020: Vancouver, Canada

Transport to the Vancouver airport for our return home to Orlando, where we'll motorcoach back to Roseborough Travel Agency. We'll keep the fond memories of our trip forever.
